Born in Talata Mafara in 1968, Abdul'Aziz Yari rose through APC's ranks from party secretary to two-term Governor of Zamfara State, chairing the Nigeria Governors' Forum through some of the state's toughest security years. Now a Senator for Zamfara West, he leads the 108-member machinery tasked with delivering President Tinubu a second term in January 2027.
