Nigeria's presidential and National Assembly elections hold on Saturday, 16 January 2027. Here's everything you need to be ready.
Get Your PVC
Register or update your details during INEC's Continuous Voter Registration exercise to collect your Permanent Voter's Card. You must be 18 or older and a Nigerian citizen.
Confirm Your Polling Unit
Use the finder on this app or the INEC portal to know exactly where to vote. If you've moved since you last registered, transfer your polling unit before the CVR deadline.
Arrive Early on Election Day
Polling units typically open at 8:30am on Saturday, 16 January 2027. Arrive early, join the accreditation queue, and have your PVC ready for verification.
Cast Your Vote
Follow the presiding officer's instructions, thumbprint next to the APC logo for President Tinubu, and fold your ballot as directed before dropping it in the box.
Wait for Collation
Results are counted and posted publicly at your polling unit before being transmitted for collation. Stay to witness the count — it's your right as a voter.
Find Your Polling Unit
Select your state, LGA, and ward to see the exact INEC polling units registered there.
