President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Three Years of Renewed Hope

Achievements & Track Record

Since taking office on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has pursued the boldest economic reform agenda in a generation. Here is what it has delivered, in the numbers.

Economy Turning the Corner

Real GDP growth rose from 2.31% in Q1 2023 to 3.89% in Q1 2026, while the fiscal deficit fell from 5.4% to 3.0% of GDP as national revenue nearly doubled from ₦16.8tn to ₦31.9tn.

Investment Returning to Nigeria

Capital importation climbed from $1.13bn (Q1 2023) to $10.37bn (Q1 2026). Foreign direct investment grew from $895m in 2022 to $4.01bn in 2025 — global confidence in Nigeria is back.

Building Nigeria's Infrastructure

Over 2,700km of highways are under construction nationwide, anchored by flagship projects like the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway.

A Living Wage for Workers

The national minimum wage was raised to ₦70,000 in September 2024, the largest single increase in the country's history.

Investing in the Next Generation

More than 300,000 students are now benefiting from the revived National Student Loan Scheme, opening the door to tertiary education for families who couldn't otherwise afford it.

Empowering Small Businesses

Over 900,000 MSMEs have accessed the Presidential Loan and Grant Scheme, fuelling a new wave of entrepreneurship across all 36 states.

Trade Surplus, Domestic Refining

Four consecutive quarters of merchandise trade surpluses, driven by rising crude output and sharply reduced petrol imports as local refining capacity expands.

Figures compiled from independent economic reporting on the Tinubu administration's first three years in office.

The work isn't finished.

Help carry Renewed Hope into a second term.
